Crazy
Mouse Spins Into Tipton
DelGrosso Family Purchases Ride At Amusement Convention

ORLANDO, FLORIDA --- With more than 1,300 exhibitors
spread over one million square feet of exhibit space, the 85th Annual
International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA)
Convention in Orlando this week is a thrill buyers paradise. Officials
of DelGrossos Amusement Park in Tipton, Pennsylvania, announced
from Orlando today they have purchased a new rollercoaster. The CRAZY
MOUSE will be in operation for the 2004 season.
The CRAZY MOUSE is known for its unpredictable
spinning motion that occurs along with the up and down
ride of a standard coaster. As each of the four passenger cars rounds
hairpin turns, they begin spinning wildly.
The CRAZY MOUSE is manufactured by Reverchon
and traverses the 1,260-foot track in two and a half minutes. The ride
is currently under construction and will be shipped to Tipton during
the winter of 2004. There are currently 52 CRAZY MOUSE rides in operation
world-wide and only 7 in the United States. Orlandos
Walt Disney World recently purchased two CRAZY MOUSE rides for their
Animal Kingdom theme park.
DelGrossos Amusement
Park President Peter Gardella calls the CRAZY MOUSE a perfect
addition to the Tipton Park. DelGrossos
Amusement Park is all about families and the four-passenger cars of
the CRAZY MOUSE will allow families to enjoy this new ride together.
The CRAZY MOUSE offers all the best of coaster thrills combined with
the experience of a spinning ride.
The CRAZY MOUSE is the first in a series of development
projects expected for the 2004 season at DelGrossos
Amusement Park.
