Ravioli with Tomato Basil Cream Sauce

“This recipe was inspired by my huge patch of fresh basil in the backyard. If you have some handy, crush and sprinkle it over the top of this dish.”

Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serves 4 to 6

1/2 - stick butter
1/4 - cup onions, finely chopped
1 - (26 oz.) jar DelGrosso Tomato Basil Spaghetti Sauce
1 - cup water
1/2 - pint whipping cream
2 - lb. frozen cheese ravioli, cooked
1 - cup grated Romano or Parmesan cheese

In a 2 quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté onions for 2 minutes. Add DelGrosso Tomato Basil Spaghetti Sauce, water, and cream. Cook for 2 more minutes. Place ravioli in a baking dish and pour sauce over pasta. Sprinkle with grated cheese and serve with salad and crusty bread.
